| Forte User | Tattoos? I want to get a tattoo that has something to do with trumpet playing. Not now, but sometime in the future. I wanted to get some of your guy's/girl's input about what you think would be cool. I was thinking of a portrait of Maynard where it has him when he's young and him when he's old. Or something like this. What are your guy's ideas? I want it to take up my whole back by the way.

| Forte User | Re: Tattoos? haha well He inspired me alot when I was younger. I know i want somehting to do with trumpet players or a atrumpet, or Trumpet music. Maybe a Trumpet Concerto, or something like that would be cool.

| Fortissimo User | Re: Tattoos? Those are nice, but would both be extremely expensive. You would also have to find a tattoo artist that is really good at what they do, and still possibly be lucky to have either of those images look half as good as the do in the photos. I have been considering a tattoo of a treble clef, or a trumpet on one of my shoulder blades Possibly having the Text (arch above image) Music is (Arch underneath image) Life Just a side note, shouldn't this go in the lounge?

(just kidding). My 2 oldest boys thought about tatoos but ended up getting images bleached into their hair. The most artistic version was the Michael Jordan Logo. This has essentially the same "message" but is not as "permanent" and allows for variety without pain. Variations could be adding hair color (or magic marker......) to the bleached part to get more image detail. Wouldn't the cost for a tatoo pay for a real trumpet lesson?
