Thompson - The Buzzing Book

I just received James Thompson's "The Buzzing Book". From looking at it and giving it a go for a few days it looks like it might be real gold. I'm pretty psyched. I would be curious as to what other people think of the book/CD or method. Did it work for ya ?

Re: Thompson - The Buzzing Book

It's great!

When I played in the Jacksonville Symphony (1984-2005) the section would pile into the car and take individual and sectional lessons with Jim @ his home when he was Principal for Hot-Lanta.

It really centered the chops and got all of us playing better.

Just DO IT!

I still buzz in the car on long trips although there have been drivers that pass me who don't know what the hell I'm doing! (Their loss!)

I use it almost daily and feel is at present my best warm up and daily chop development tool.
