I'll do my best vb.
Find a chop doc brute force isn`t the answer, there are no range methods out that will give you screaming high notes if you`r embouchure isn`t right .
I live in Coquitlam and I used to go to a maggio teacher in Long & McQuade in Poco, the one near Costco by the name of Miguel. I am not sure if he is still there. He helped me learn a lot and was very patient. It is a little hard to find a time with him because that place is busy.
Something I forgot, you can also try the pencil exercise. YouTube - The Pencil Exercise for trumpet players
I found it helped for me. I had the same problem except air only escaped from the corner of my mouth when my embouchure got tired.
I have to agree with rowuk. But if you're set on this new embouchure, get a good teacher you trust. Not having a teacher to guide you through the entire process is going to screw you up more than you can imagine.

Thanks, I'll try finding miguel, and see if I can book a time with him.
And I'll start on the pencil exercise.
