Timofei Dokshizer methode

Hi: I am new in TrumpetMaster and very happy to be in this forum.
Just curious about the utilisation in different countries of the methode writed by the great Russian trumpetist Timofei Dokshizer(also sometimes writed as Timofei Dokchitzer).
Personally I work longtime with this methode(specially warm-ups,vocalises and part of the sequences)mixed in the technic part with the methode of Vizzuti and Clarke.
The aproach of Dokshizer to the study of the trumpet and his plan of work after each day of the week is really very well done and highly recommended.

Daniel

Daniel,

Welcome to Trumpet Master, and I too love Timofei's playing.

I do not own his method book. One day, I would like to. Thanks for recommending it.

Regards,

Richard Oliver

T.D.'s book is an excellent one and he has some very good sugestion for young orchestral players as are many of us. Good one. Look for it at BIM editions.
