The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee announces its 3rd annual Trumpet Day

Featuring:

Vincent Cichowicz, Professor Emeritus at Northwestern University, former member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, music director of the Millar Brass Ensemble, and recipient of the International Trumpet Guild Lifetime Achievement Award.

and

Stephen Burns, trumpet virtuoso, conductor, composer, and artistic director of the Fulcrum Point New Music Project in Chicago.

Date: March 12th, 2005

Time: 9:30am - 6:00pm.

Location: Helene Zelazo Center for the Performing Arts, 2419 E. Kenwood Blvd on the UWM campus.

Cost: $20 at the door

Day will consist of: masterclasses with Vincent Cichowicz, Stephen Burns, and Kevin Hartman, Professor of Trumpet at UWM; Recital with Stephen Burns and Kevin Hartman; and exhibits by instrument manufacturers including Conn-Selmer, Kanstul, and Charlie's Brass Works.
