    Update on the peeling

Hey guys so just an update from my last post. I've been using for a few days, Burt's bees replenishing pomengranate chapstick.
My lips are in a cycle of peeling skin and healing. The problem is when the skin tries to heal, it starts off a bit flaky and the loose skin always somehow finds a way to peel off. Thus making this a never ending cycle of peeling and healing and peeling again. I am now being extremely careful with my lips and resisting the urge to wipe off the skin. I'm generously appplying the burts bees before bed, when I wake up, after meals and showers. I am even too scared to rub my lips together after putting on the lip balm. It still works as long as I apply the lip balm right? Any advice or tips on how to get through this? I have the weekend to heal up before having to play on monday. I've stopped playing because that rubs off the skin too. Thanks
Practice as if you are the worst, play as if you are the best.

Could you be getting to much sun on your lips? drying them out and slightly burning them? maybe buy a wide brimmed hat?

Get yourself to a dermatologist at once. You might have a sun-induced form of neurodermitis, which needs medical treatment.

    Re: Update on the peeling

When my lips get really bad, I usually apply a nice coat of Vaseline before bed. I usually use Chapstick original, but recently bought some Chopsavers Gold lip balm, which has an SPF 15 sunblock in it. The Chopsavers feels pretty good, but wears off quickly. From the ingredients, it seems to be a more natural mix. I've tried lots of different lip remedies; some work wonderfully, while others are terrible.

You might consider using a product that has a sunscreen.
