This one is mainly for the repairers on here. My silver-plated Xeno trumpet has a couple of very small dents at the very end of the 1st and 3rd valve slides. These were probably caused by the previous owner allowing the valve slides to slip off the trumpet and fall to the ground. I emailed a repairer who advertised that he removed dents to see if he could do the job for me and he came back to me and said that he could not help me.
Am I right in thinking these dents can be easily removed, or is there some difficulty in removing dents from the bend of these valve slides.
There are also a few scratches on the bell of the trumpet, probably caused by contact with a music stand, can these be removed by buffing or something similar?
