Re: Videos on Trumpet-CLub.org

I have listened to the first 10 inutes so far.

Very nice.

What is the trumpet player's name?

The recording stops every couple minutes or so, maybe I will let it load and finish it later.

Thanks for posting it.

The third trumpet player to perform is very good.

The pianist is excellent also.

Wow! How old is number4? He looks to be about 11 or 12!

Akart,

Thanks for posting these. It's been running 9 minutes and I'm still waiting for the gentleman to stop talking.

Anyway you could accomodate us non Russian speaking folks by editing your files so that the music starts right away? No dis-respect intended. I'm certain he is saying some valuable things.

If you could give us a little more info on the pieces and the performer that would also be great.

Thanks for considering my requests.

The 2nd video gets started a little quicker. Some great playing Akart. It would be nice to know where these players are in their education / careers.

Rog,

On the 1st one, 14 mins in a brass ensemble begins. I couldn't listen to the whole thing last night.

I'll give the other clips a try today sometime. Looking forward to it also.

Editing out the verbal intro would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Richard

Thank you for the reply. Yes, it's a tradition to make a long verbal "prelude" of men who knows the person whom the concert is dedicated. I could't delete it because it's a very nice and full information to russian visitors of the site. I'm afraid I can't do it now because I can't find the file what made by ripping the DVD. You can
And what about information about players - i'll remember it in future and write it here as soon as possible.
Compositions what they play are well-known: Albinoni, Purcell, Vivaldi, Haendel, Haydn, Hummel, Arban, Enescu, Gedike, Arutyunyan, Honegger, Bozza etc.

Re: Videos on Trumpet-CLub.org

AKART, What a wonderful opportunity you provide us. I don't expect to have the money or time to get to Russia, and this brings some of it live to me! I too spent more time than I can allow today to listen to the speaker, but I will make time to hear the music. Once again, with great appreciation..............tom
