Wayne Bergeron in central TX this week

hey guys and gals - just a heads-up that Wayne Bergeron will be
performing with the Temple Jazz Orchestra this Saturday night (April
2nd) as the final concert of the Temple Jazz Festival. Here's a URL for
the Festival site:

http://www.templejc.edu/dept/Music/Jazz/jazz2005.htm

should be a great show - if you make it, come introduce yourself -
you'll be blown away by the band and, of course, by Wayne.

Also take note of the IAJE regional festival at Baylor University in
Waco on April 15-16 with Jon Faddis.

Good times for trumpets in the middle 'o Texas (I think Maynard is also
in TX this week and Tower of Power is in Austin and Denton at the end
of April/start of May)

Blessings!

My sources say that Wayne Bergeron and Ed Calle are supposed to have a Jam Session at a local Italian restaurant in Temple on Friday night, definetly something worth checking out.

yep - the jam is Friday night after Ed Calle plays with the student group - it's a pretty small room and the guest artists and judges all play a bit - bring your horn if you want!
