Wedding Music

Hey team,

I just got my first wedding gig (woo hoo!) and I believe they want Trumpet Voluntary. What is the standard version/edition/publisher, etc? I don't have my own copy yet. Do you play it on picc. or Bb or something else?

Also, I am getting married this summer as well and I am fortunate enough to have the great Martin Hodel (with St. Olaf College and MN Orch) performing at it. What pieces (other than the traditional) do you suggest for a wedding?

thanks for everything,
JD

JD-

Have Marty play anything on Natural Trumpet! ... and tell him I said so ;)

Congrats on your upcoming weddings.
