![]() | William "Bill" Pond Obituary To those who grew up in the Red River Valley (of the North) or came through the University of NoDak and knew "Mr. Pond", I just ran across this obituary this morning. Going to the circus as a kid he was the sound of the trumpet (as well as the name and the face...) in Grand Forks in the 1960's And a Naval Aviator... William ?Bill? ![]() ![]() | Re: William "Bill" Pond Obituary I had not heard of him but I read the obit - quite a guy. But, anyone who is both a pilot and a trumpet player does not need any other qualifications to be considered a success. (Oops - my wife just said to add doing the laundry!)
