![]() ![]() | Wilmer Wise Masterclass/Concert I had the opportunity to catch most of Wilmer's clinic yesterday at the NYBC "Trumpet Day". It was a great presentation. He spoke about dental issues and even brought up two guests: his dentist and Dr. William Fielder (who has had dentures for some time). The highlight (for me) was after much questioning regarding the perfect horn, perfect mouthpiece and perfect teeth (Faddis was often mentioned) - Wilmer said something about there being "no perfect anything", just hard work. It was a great reminder that in our quest for the best equipment, nothing replaces time in the practice room. Thanks Wilmer! Tony |
