"Cornet" Brass Band Journal Music... HELP!!!

Friends,

We are doing "The Barber of Seville Overture" arrangement for Brass Band by G.Hawkins, Published by F. Richardson Ltd.

The Solo Cornet part(s) is copies of copies of copies. We still have original 2nd and 3rd cornet parts so I know the band owned (purchased) the arrangement at one point in history. I guess it's no fun to steal 2 & 3 parts...LOL

Anyway, can anyone scan me a clear copy of this? We are going blind I tell ya... blind!

PM me so I can protect your identidy. Can't have the Gloucester Police leaving me phone messages about international copy right laws.

PLEASE HELP SAVE THE SIGHT OF OUR FRONT ROW!!! Most of us are already on bifocals...

Many thanks,

A blind Barber in the making

You might want to visit theMouthPiece.com and ask this question - that is a forum that specialises in the brass band world, I am sure that somebody over there would be able to help.

Rogerio....we have The Barber of Seville in our brass band library....don't know who's arrangement it is, but I will check tomorrow night and if it is George Hawkin's arrangement, I will send you a copy of the solo cornet part in pdf format.

Rogerio....sorry to disappoint you mate but what we have is a SELECTION and not the overture from the Barber of Seville. However on Sunday I attend rehearsal with another band I play for and I feel sure that they have the overture......I will keep you posted....just hope that it's not too late for you..
Regards

Alan,

Never too late my friend. I think I've placed all the notes in the right place... it takes a while but the music is very predictable. It will be great to have a fresh copy for the next set of "victims"....

Thanks again for looking!
