| Free Trumpet Duet Co-op Press is offering Sy Brandon’s composition “Fanfares for Two Trumpets” as a free download. Originally composed as Madrigal Feast Fanfares for three natural trumpets, these five short fanfares were adapted as a trumpet duet. They can be performed as a group or individually. Each lasts 15" to 30". Open harmonies, thirds and counterpoint are utilized. The fourth fanfare is in 5/8. Duration: 2:00. You can sample this work and other compositions and arrangements by Sy Brandon by visiting http://cooppress.hostrack.net and clicking on “trumpet music”. |
