Hindemith Sonata...

I'll most probably be playing this piece for my NYSSMA all-state audition. But even if you're not familiar with NYSSMA, any advice for a high school player on this piece?

There is a very long thread on this piece here at TM.
My advice is to not play too massively (like almost every recording available!). This is chamber music!

Also make sure you have a really good pianist. This part is HARD. The piano is an equal partner to the trumpet.
