 | historically correct german trumpets! Speaking of Dr Tarr, i saw him a month ago and he mentioned that the orchestras in russia were playing german trumpets until the late 50s. This tradition of german trumpet comes from willy brandt and co. That means generally shostakovitch and prokofiev should be played with german trumpet...  |
