![]() | Hummel edition question Hey guys, I'm taking an audition and the Hummel Concerto is on the list. The actual wording is "First movement to around letter H depending on what edition you are playing from" I'm using an edition that has only measure numbers. Could someone who has an edition with letters provide me with a measure number? Thanks, Jimi |

| Re: Hummel edition question Seriously in the King edition H is at the end of the Exposition. (right before 28 measures of rest) |

| Pianissimo User | Re: Hummel edition question The end of the exposition is a sensible place to stop, I've seen the exposition of Haydn or Hummel asked in auditions before. It may not be a bad idea to call/email the audition coordinator to double check though. Neither of my editions have letters either. Stuart |

| Re: Hummel edition question Jimi - I think untill the end of the expo would be plenty, but JUST IN CASE, nail the development and recap (and what the heck, the coda too) as well. Hopefully, the audition coordinator will get back to you ASAP, but in the mean time, I would not assume anything, even if you hear it from people "who should know". Don't be caught unprepared. Good luck, Josh |
