| Jens Lindemann heads Banff summer program This is to announce a special summer residency at the Banff Centre from July 24-August 4, 2006. For those of you who have never been there, Banff is located in the Canadian Rockies and is simply one of the most beautiful places in the world! Headed by myself, it will also feature (IMHO) the world's greatest trombone player Alain Trudel (www.alaintrudel.com). Also, Martin Hackleman (formerly Canadian & Empire Brass now principal of the National Symphony) will be there for the first week on french horn. Marty will also be there for the prior masterclass (July 3-21) for french horn in a more traditional context. This brass seminar is intended for a small number of elite level of international players who are ready for the next step in career development either as soloists, or chamber musicians in particular. Both soloists and preformed ensembles are welcome to apply. The seminar will focus on marketing strategies, press kits, recordings, web sites as well as private lessons. There will be industry experts invited to attend who have worked with the most prominent management and record companies in the world. This seminar exists to 'tell it like it is' and is intended for serious minded young professionals. Please email me directly (trumpetjens@aol.com) for further information as the deadline is approaching quickly and can be extended with prior notice or check the Banff Centre web site link: http://www.banffcentre.ca/programs/program.aspx?id=461 Happy practising: Jens Lindemann www.trumpetsolo.com |
