Andre actually recorded another versoin of Caravan back in the late 50's. A friend of mine who is a trumpet player and record dealer came back from a buying trip to France with a copy. I think it was played with a theatre orchestra of some sort. A 45rpm single with his photo on the front cover looking very, very young - obviously before he won the big solo competition.
