![]() ![]() | Re: Longest concerto While not trumpet, Tuba concerto in B minor may be considered. The composer states that he feels this may be the longest concerto ever written for a brass instrument and certainly for the tuba. |

| Forte User | Re: Longest concerto Yo, man. The concerto is FOR ORCHESTRA not for trumpet, or trumpets. There is some scary trumpet bits but that doesn't make the trumpets soloists. I would vote for I believe that its total duration was around 25 min.
