Malcolm McNab (Upcoming CD)!!!

I just received this message. This one sounds like it's going to be a must have!

Hi Everyone,

On Tuesday of this week I went over to Malcolm McNab’s home studio to listen to a sneak preview of the solo CD he is making. He is planning to have it ready in June. I have to tell you it is the most amazing trumpet recording I’ve ever heard.

I know that years ago he made a “very interesting” recording of the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto with Trumpet and Piano. You may have heard bootlegged copies of that. But don’t think that is a foretaste of this new recording. This new recording, with orchestra, is so polished and refined that you simply won’t believe it. The trumpet playing is way beyond wonderful – it will stop you in your tracks! The recorded sound is sumptuous. Coupled with a Bach Double Violin Concerto, Frank Zappa’s “BeBop Tango” and a new Bruce Broughton piece for Cornet and Pit Orchestra, this CD is definitely going to cause a sensation.

There’s nothing in this for me except the excitement of telling you about it. Malcolm will be selling the CD from his own website and may very likely have the music available for sale in PDF format also.

The attachment is a blurb that Malcolm has had made up to spread the word. Please feel free to forward this to any friends and brass players you think might be interested. You can also check out his website by clicking here at www.malcolmmcnab.com. When he actually has the CD ready for shipping, I’ll send you a reminder.

Best wishes,
