![]() ![]() ![]() | Mendez Jota Yesterday just before I went to work, I laid this version of the Mendez Jota (Jota #1) without accompaniment in a quick practice session. I also included a detailed discussion at the end of how I record this stuff at the END of the tape. I moved it to the end for those who aren't interested in such stuff. Here's the link: It ain't flawless, and I hope you can enjoy some of it! It is a frantic little piece, particularly with the accompaniment missing and the rests all elided, but this is part of a larger project this week. Peace. Nick

![]() | Re: Mendez Jota Very well done, Nick! Of the 3 Jotas Mendez wrote (the third one is also known as Fandango), I think this one is the most difficult. It goes all over the place and the ending - at least to me - is just plain nasty hard. Maybe you can do Scherzo in D minor next. Rich Tomasek |
