 | Mendez Pieces Folks, I have had quite a few inquiries about the availability of the Mendez pieces I have. I've been asked to make PDF's and send them out. I REALLY need to be careful here. I have checked with David Hickman and he assures me they are ALL still copyrighted and that I could get sued if I started sending the out. Here is some more info I got from him. The Koff pieces are apparently available through Robert King. Please check there. The Carl Fisher stuff is out of print, but is available through the music library at Eastman. Those seem to be the best legitimate resources. I hope this seems reasonable. My sense of fraternity with all of you makes me want to just send out the PDF's willy nilly, but I want to respect the Mendez families rights in all of this. I hope this all makes sense. Peace. Nick

| Re: Mendez Pieces I have used my public library to get a hold of a bunch of trumpet music, The Mendez Czardas and the Virgen of Macarena, as well as some old cornet solos. If you have an Interlibrary Loan service at your library it is worth talking to the librarian. They don't come overnight, it is sort of like christmas when they arrive. Then you try to play them and it is no longer like christmas  Nick
