![]() | Minnesota Orchestra '05-06 Gentle sight readers, We just got the brochure for next season and it looks like fun. Mahler 1, 3, 5 Strauss Also Sprach Zarathustra Don Quixote Der Rosenkavalier Shostakovitch 10 Brahms 1, 2, 3, 4 Tchaikovsky 4 and 6 Ravel Tombeau de Couperin Bolero Daphnis and Chloe complete La Valse Beethoven 2, 7 and 9 Bruckner 8 Sibelius 1 and 4 Stravinsky Petrushka Firebird Suite Dvorak 8 Debusy Iberia Adams Tromba Lontana Obviously there's more but I figured that's the stuff that would get y'all hot and bothered. I think if you want to plan a road trip and come on out here you can check out the web site and get precise dates. Recordings for next year will be only the 9th of Beethoven. This year we're doing 3 and 8 in June. The fourth/utility trumpet matter is yet to be settled but I hope it will be soon. Gotta get back on stage... see ya. ML |

| Fortissimo User | Manny, get a laptop with wireless. Then you won't have to wait until offstage to post messages!.... just type away during the rests! (and sips of Chivas Regal handed to you by your on-stage butler) (make sure that the keyboard is a silent one though!). I sure wish our director would tell us ahead of time what he's going to have the librarians pull! We've got a concert in May with James Walker (flute, LA Philharmonic, Academy Awards, Tonight Show, NY Philharmonic) and only one chart has been distributed so far! |

![]() | Sounds like you're in for a fun season. One question - do the MO ever do online broadcasts, like say the NY Phil do? |
