MO Trumpet section article in ITG

Hey Manny! Nice article in the most recent ITG journal. (pp 66-67) You guys look sharp in your tuxes. I also think it is cool that is article appears in the same journal with the Vacchiano tribute. Congrats!

I have it sitting right in front of me. The March 2006 ITG Journal (Vol. 30, No. 3) has an article about the Minnesota Trumpet section in the "Orchestra Section Profile" with a picture of the four of you in your tuxes and lists the equipment all of you play. In the same issue, the main article is a Vacchiano tribute. You really should get your hands on one and take a look at it. I just received mine a few days ago.

You meant before right?

Alex, it's an old Irish expression (the way I heard it was "May ye get te Heaven half an hour afore the divil knows you're dead".)

Heh, heh....I got that Clarino. It was the "before" and "after" thing that confused me. LOL.

Does anyone remember this goodie from Charlie Daniels? I just put "trumpet" and "she" where "fiddle" and "he" used to be.

You inspired me to go buy that song on iTunes. As much as I like to think myself one of those classical music snobs, there's always room on the MP3 player for some Charlie Daniels Band.
