As some of you may have heard, Tom Cupples was the winner of this auditon.

Thought I'd pass along the list info for the whole audition, as it was pretty interesting how it all went down.

The prelims and semis had posted excerpts on the wall, including "sight-reading", and the rounds were drawn from those pieces.

I think this is everything, but somebody let me know if I forgot anything:

Prelims:
Leonore 3
Promenade
Petrushka - Ballerina's Dance
---after this, they seem to have asked different stuff from everyone. Carmen, Scheherezade, and Gotterdammerung were the most common, from what people told me.

Second Round: 15 people - 9 from the prelims, and 6 direct invitees
(I think everyone played the same thing in this round - unlike the prelims)
Leonore
Promenade
Bach Magnificat (1st trumpet)
Scheherezade, 4th mvt. (C-D, Q-R)
Parsifal (1st excerpt)
Fetes (1st trumpet)
Pines Off-Stage
Firebird (1st Trumpet)
Ein Heldenleben (2nd Eb trumpet)

Finals: 4 people - all played the previous round.
Leonore
Copland 3, last mvt (the "Fanfare for the Common Man" part, 1st trumpet)
Brahms Academic Fest. (chorale - 1st trumpet)
Wagner Tannhauser overture (1st trumpet)
---section playing (all 2nd parts)---
Ein Heldenleben (off-stage passage)
Mahler 1 (1st and 3rd mvt. passages)
Shostakovich 5 (1st mvt)
Mahler 2 ("Urlicht" chorale)
Beethoven Violin Concerto

Congrats, again Tom! Great job.
