Open Auditions for GACCOC

After many months off, the Greater Atlanta Christian Community Orchestra and Choir is coming back to life. We have restructured the organization of the group so that the total load is not resting on one person's shoulders (this is why we had many months off!)

We have open auditions on July 18th and July 25, with our first rehearsal on Aug. 11th.

It is exciting to think about actually playing in a group again (as opposed to solos with CD's, which is all I have been doing for the last year!)

If anybody is interested, the website is at:

Re: Open Auditions for GACCOC

Looks like it might be fun. I don't have any sort of speedy internet, so couldn't watch the video--what is the repertoire like? Bach, Mozart, etc.?

Re: Open Auditions for GACCOC

Repertoire is very eclectic. We will do some classical (as you said..Bach, Mozart etc), comtemporary. traditional gospel, even some swing. Once we get up and running, we will probably have a small jazz group too.
