| Orchestral Seating Hi Manny- I'd like to ask your opinion about something. For which pieces do you physically separate the trumpet section on the stage? I think the only time we've done this is for Shostakovich 7 when trumpets 4-6 and trombones 4-6 sit on the other side of the stage. Have you ever done this on any other piece? I thought it might be interesting to have the Eb and Bb trumpets in Ein Heldenleben play from different places. Have you ever done this? Thanks so much. JU |

![]() | When we did Heldenleben we had the four bad Bb guys in the balcony, and one Eb and one Bb in the orchestra (because of that nasty low Eb at the end [played by Vulgano Bro.]) Did your Eb's let the trombone play the low Eb? Shame, shame, shame! |
