Principal Trumpet in CSO - No Winner?

There is a rumor going around that neither of the two final canidates for the Principal Chicago Symphony spot were hired.

Yep, it's true. No one was hired for the CSO principal job. Heard about it today.

It's probably better anyway for them to wait until Levine takes over and the guard changes.

In any event, the person who sits in that chair will surely be on the "hot seat" for a while!
