Rare Arban Recordings

Due to popular demand, I have added 3 new MP3 files to the James Burke website. Deuxieme Fantasie Brilliante (Arban); Fantasie Sur Aida (Arban) and Bugler's Holiday (Leroy Anderson). Just go to this link:

The James F. Burke Tribute Page :: Cornet Soloist & Solo Chair - The Goldman Band 1943-1974

and they will be at the very bottom of the page.

Hope you enjoy and if there are any problems playing them back, please let me know as I am trying out "Audiograbber" free software.

Mark

It sounded like Charles Ives Everything started playing at the same time, maybe it's a Mac thing.

Re: Rare Arban Recordings

Mark,

Thanks!

I loved Bugler's Holiday!!

Listening to the others too

In the 1st part of Aida Burke's sound is just gorgeous as he is on the Fantasie Brilliante.

I do not own any Burke recordings, and I looked at iTunes and Amazon, and they are decidedly behind the times!!

Harumph!!
