Rivier Concerto for Trumpet

I am trying to find a recording of the Rivier Concerto for Trumpet. I have found several recordings of the Concerto for Alto Sax and Trumpet, but none of them include just the trumpet concerto. Anyone have any ideas where to look for this or who may carry the recording in either the U.S. and Europe?

Drew,

I rather doubt that it was ever recorded (not Jean Rivier's finest moment). Maurice never touched it and I believe that it was written for him.

Cheers,

EC,

Thanks for the reply. I am sorry to hear that there may not be a recording. It is a very technically demanding piece.

I guess I am missing something about the composition because the more I practice it, the more I like it.

Thanks again

Drew,

Great. Really learn it (from scratch) then and record it yourself...

Best,
