sonicgeo2 has a spectacular aura about
Royal Concertgebouw Principal opening

I just heard today that the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra is looking for a new principal trumpet player. Can anyone tell me what happened to Frits Damrow? I mean, you can't really play in a better orchestra, and he's not old enough to be looking at retirement. Just curious!

JJ is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: Royal Concertgebouw Principal opening

He decided to focus on his solo career instead. In addition, he'll be teaching in Zurich.
