| Mezzo Forte User | Spada Artists Everybody on the forum knows at least couple of Ecipse, NYTC or Monette Artists...But as Spada is not quite that famous in US I took the liberty to find couple of Spada artists. I hope that you will enjoy to find about those...Spada does not have endrsed artists as some others companies do, like Monette, Eclipse, Yamaha etc...I guess that such is their marketing policy. Their is quite a few trumpeters who use their horns and are happy with them enough to mention this in one or another way... Jouko Harjanne - trumpet Klemens Rehman I saw also few posters in the spada shop mentioning that they have made trumpets for people like Randy Brecker, Guy Touvron and Hakan Hardenberger among others but I am not really sure how ften they use those trumpets. | Re: Spada Artists I believe, and according to his website, that Randy Brecker is a Yamaha endorsing artist and clinician. Yamaha Corporation of America - Randy Brecker -cw- |

| Mezzo Forte User | Re: Spada Artists Guy Touvron is or at least was in the past a Selmer endorsed Artist, but this did not stop him of having built an E flat trumpet by Rene Spada...I cannot present an internet testimony but I saw these posters with the handwriting of this guys, thanking to Rene for his horns. |

| Mezzo Forte User | Re: Spada Artists This is not necessary to happen...Personally, I don't like big corporation...Are you trying to be funny...I like to have Monette, Eclipse, Spada etc separately, so I may have the possibility of having different horns...Endrsed artists...Who say that htey cannot have differents bands of horns? They still can like other brands even if they must play in public the respective brand because of the cotract they have with...I like the idea of having (but affording is another story) Schagerl, Spada, Eclipse, Monette and other horns...The problems is as I said previously in another forum, that it is difficult to get them all in one place, so one should not do a world tour in 80 days |

![]() | Re: Spada Artists Nick, I'm officially a Yamaha Artist but have horns from other sources... including a fabulous Bach/Blackburn C that was converted by Rene Spada. It used to belong to Balazs Nemes (before he switched exclusively to rotary horns). Cheers, EC |

![]() | Re: Spada Artists Vulgano, My Yamaha trumpets were all tricked up by Bob pre the current line of horns. I have to say however that my son Chris (17) has a new, off the shelf, Chicago Bb (with a valve alignment) that's absolutely fabulous. Best, EC |

| Re: Spada Artists The artist listed are not endorsing artist. They had modification made to their instruments. It is not the same thing. Having lived about 30 minutes from Spada for 18 years and being a close friend from Guy Touvron, I know that he was and is still a Selmer Artist. |

| Re: Spada Artists Hi TrumpetNick and Swissdude, If I already have a Bach Strad does Spada take it and convert it or do I have to order a new instrument from them? Thanks, Brian |
