| teachers in St. Louis/kc I am hoping to find a good orchestral teacher in the St. Louis or Kansas City area. On an earlier post someone had mentioned Joshua MacCluer. If anyone has an idea of how to get into contact with him I would appreciate it. Thanks |

| New Friend | I wish I had seen your post earlier. I have a great teacher for you to check out! Professor Steve Leisring of KU. He's studied at Mannes and with many great players including Pinzerella, spent 14 years in Spain with the Tenerife Orchestra, and has many students in great positions all over the world including Tokyo syphony, European Youth Orchestra. He helped me get into Tanglewood. He's only been at KU for a little over 2 years, and the studio is really going places. Keep your eye out for KU! (And try to get a lesson) |
