Trumpet solo in the second suite of "Carmen"

Hi all,

This past year I had the opportunity to play most of the solos from Bizet's "Carmen" in the Minnesota Youth Symphonies. This clip is from a rehearsal. Any advice is appreciated!

Good job. I like the legato quality of the line very much.

You obviously need a better conductor, however ;)

Bravo!! Next rehearsal try taking it up an octave--conductor mobbing is best learned young.
