Russell,

You can find Brian's contact info on his website:
Brian MacDonald and Tracey MacDonald-musicians

There's an e-mail link at the bottom of the page.

Re: Arnie Chycoski, Brian MacDonald, Chris Jaudes

Chris Jaudes is from St. Louis. If you can get an email to Philip Smith he might be able get you a contact for Chris.

Chris' father was head of the Salvation Army band here in St. Louis. Chris grew up in the Salvation Army Church and band program. Some of you may know that Phil Smith is also a Salvationist. The two know each other from the Church and I think Phil got Chris started in New York. I heard Chris play for a Glenn Miller/Tex Benneke (sp?) concert at Fox High School south of St. Louis a long time ago.

You can also try the International Women's Brass Conference. Chris was a guest soloist last year with the Women's Brass Band. He played a Vizzutti piece.

Russ -

I can probably hook you up with Chris' email. Just give me a day or so - I'll PM it to you.

Thanks Tony ... I tried emailing his wife as she is listed on the internet with the Salvation Army. I've seen Chris with Ron Kenoly.

Re: Arnie Chycoski, Brian MacDonald, Chris Jaudes

I played marching/symphonic bands with Chycoski when we were kids and would also be interested in his website. However, at that time he didn't seem like the type to ever have a website. But a lot can change in 50 years. Last I heard he had retired to the area of Vancouver Island around Nanaimo.

Re: Arnie Chycoski, Brian MacDonald, Chris Jaudes

someone recently told me that they thought Arnie was in Sacramento, California. Check out Brian MacDonalds website ... wow some scream playing on there! I saw Brian when he was playing Lead with Maynard. Here ... he is featured with The Airmen of Note whom he has played Lead with for six years now.

djm6701 is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: Arnie Chycoski, Brian MacDonald, Chris Jaudes

I spoke with Rob McConnell a few weeks ago and asked about Arnie as I used to live near him and would drop by for lessons initially and eventually just a drink on the back deck. Arnie is living in the Nanaimo, B.C. area and is retired from playing.

Re: Arnie Chycoski, Brian MacDonald, Chris Jaudes

Arnie Chycoski passed away yesterday (9/10/08). You are right to want to honor him on your web site. He was a great player, teacher and friend.
