![]() | Check out these: http://www.shermusic.com/newrbv1.htm http://www.shermusic.com/newrbv2.htm http://www.shermusic.com/newrbv3.htm These are the books that Terell Stafford ( www.terellstafford.com ) and all the jazz faculty at Temple use with their students. Also, here is a good review of most all of the Fake Books, however it is designed for guitarists, etc. http://www.seventhstring.co.uk/fbindex.html just click on the button at the bottom of the page. Or even check here http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/store/...%20Bestsellers Good luck and hope that helps! -efwd

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The 6th edition "real book" is now commercially available... the tunes hopefully have better changes and corrected melody notes but that book is what 90% of the "pros" who read tunes read out of. Nowadays I just learn all of my tunes by ear. It's so much better for you and you remember them much better (at least for me I do). Hal Leonard sells it now. I guess that puts the guys at Berklee out of business ;) Best, Trent

| Piano User | OOooo, the 6th edition looks awesome! I decided to go for the one with more songs though, the one with 1200...I just hope they're mostly correct (I figure it's at least better than nothing). http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...226481-7066224
