Fellow trumpeters,

I have had the pleasure and the privilege of being involved with Brian Lynch's current recording project, which includes a historic meeting of his long-time collaborators Eddie Palmieri and Phil Woods, his first collaboration with a singer, the fantastic Lila Downs, and a dream team of talented musicians. Brian is producing this recording using the ArtistShare model, which lets fans participate in the funding of the project in exchange for a range of benefits, and which distributes the recording exclusively via CD sales over the internet.

The recording is going to mastering as I write this and will be available soon. I can personally attest to the fact that Brian is at the top of his game as a trumpeter, arranger and composer in these sessions; he has called this project his best work to date, and he's not kidding!

I'm told there are just a few days left to participate in the project at some of the premium ArtistShare levels, but you will be able to get the CD itself from the site at any time.
