Bude Jazz Festival

Hello,
Thinking of loading up the m/cycle and heading down to Bude this summer for the festival. Anyone here been there before? Or would Brecon be a better bet?

The last time I tried to ride my motorcycle to the Bude Jazz Festival, I almost drowned.

Looks like I'll be hiring a car - the bike died today. Taking it to the breakers later.

For the benefit of us in America, will someone please translate that into English?

In America we only hire people.
So does "hiring a car" involve hiring a driver, too?

And what is "the breakers"?

Hiring a car - renting a car
Breakers - people who strip down cars/bikes for the spare parts

Shame about the Dick Van Dyke..........Mango. If you want some Anneka Rice...Brecon has Roy Hargrove this Donkey's Ear.

Bude is always Mork and Mindy and Brecon camping is just one big Box of Toys..........
