| Current Bay Area and San Diego Players I just moved to California (the Bay Area) a few weeks ago and I have had the pleasure of sitting in with two great trumpet players one in San Diego and one in San Jose. They are Gilbert Castellanos GILBERTCASTELLANOS.COM and John Worley John L. Worley - Trumpet, Flugelhorn, and Educator Both there cats are burning and I wish I had found out about them sooner. If you have not heard of them, check out their web pages. Great Sound clips on both sites Last edited by ptynan : 07-27-2007 at 01:43 AM. |

| Re: Current Bay Area and San Diego Players John Worley is a bad mf. The San Francisco Bay is a whole lot more fun than the Bay of Fundy. Look up trombonist Wayne Wallace too, walacomusic.com. He's the doctor and one of the reigning authorities in the bay area. He hires Worley. Worley is from Wisconsin IIRC. Michael McLaughlin |
