Re: Eric Miyashiro CD

Haha! Thanks! In fact, my solo in Latin Goes Ska is a tongue in cheek joke... Since high school, my fetish tune, the one I play all the time kind of as a joke is "Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White", popularized by Perez Prado's orchestra. When fooling around playing Latin Goes Ska, I noticed both tunes were in the same key and following the same chord progression, and since both are "latin" songs, I started goofing the the Cherry Pink melody. So did the other solists... especially the guitar player hehe.

For those who just joined the conversation, here's the song:

MySpace.com - The Skopitones - Quebec City, CA - Ska / Jazz / Reggae - www.myspace.com/skopitones (click on Latin Goes Ska)

or here if myspace doesn't work

:)

And of course... my inspiration:

YouTube - NIHABLAR & CEREZO ROSA ORIGINAL

:) :) :)
