Talking Have you heard of Sean Jones

Check Sean Jones out
www.myspace.com/seanjonesjazz

Sean Jones' tone, intonation and musicality are stellar. On this CD, the material is interesting and appealing, the other musicians are outstanding and Jones is great. This is a CD I have found myself listening to every day, and I am sure I will be enjoying this for years. IMO, one of the best jazz CDs in recent years.~~ Duncan Clark

I had the pleasure to see this guy live... what a concert! I love his music... is it a wonder he plays beside Wynton?

Re: Have you heard of Sean Jones

A great trumpeter! Stepping up to the stand & not afraid to introduce to something new ( not always easy in Wynton's shadow).
Good luck to Sean. He sure can play!

Re: Have you heard of Sean Jones

Sure have! I went to a concert of his in the fall at UMass Amherst (the h is slient for any of you non-Massachusettians) and he was FANTASTIC! I bought his Roots cd right at the concert then downloaded his Gemini cd off of iTunes about a week later and I keep forgetting to get some more $ on my account to buy his other cd. Hes a great musician and is really funny.
