They are a fantastic group of players. I've played a number of their charts and it is way too much fun! I still wish I had that group together from my undergrad days; I'd love to do that stuff again.

To call them tight would be an understatement. I listened to Epistrophy...man, changing times, extended technique by the bari player keeping time on the keys, then the trumpets...wow. Cool stuff.

The Hornheads are great. I was able to take lessons from Steve Strand when I first came back. He's a great guy and supper player.

Check out all their CD's....you will not be disappointed.

I heard them live tonight in St. Cloud performing for the MN All State summer camp. They sounded great! Fun show and amazing playing.
