![]() ![]() | I forgot about this CD! Man is it good! This AM our lab background music is a CD from 1992. I forgot how great it was. It is "The Return of the Brecker Brothers." Michael sounds incredible as always, but Randy Plays some just amazing stuff and the feel he gets is just flat out smokin'! The opening track "Song For Barry" features both, but Randy's solo is spectacular. They'll also be listnening to Michael Brecker CD ("Time is of the Essence"), but I wanted to remind you all of Randy Brecker's trumpet work. FWIIW, coming from me! Peace. ![]() | I love that album but I get my BB albums mixed up. (cd's, haven't dragged some skunk funk out of the albums) I wonder if that's the album with a song I love that is kind of hip hop, and sounds like you're driving or racing a car, gears shifting on down. track 5 or 7 or somthing. had to cut in. :) last time I saw the BB was in hermosa beach about two weeks after having seen freddie, "Now THAT's what a trumpet player should sound like." |
