 | I'm finally recording CD #2 Hey gang, I know for quite some time people have been asking me when I'd be recording a new CD. I can finally answer you all in saying that the new CD recording is already underway and I'll be going into the studio this week! For my new disc I thought I'd play in one of my favorite settings with a disc of entirely duo music. I want this to be more intimate and creative than Trumpet 101 and while the Duo format is considered the most challenging musically for me I find it extremely rewarding in terms of the creativity it allows within the framework of the compositions. Best to you all and I look forward to posting more on the blog. Feel free to post there or here with any questions that you might have. | WOW! Benny and I had an absolutely great time playing. It was an extremely relaxed session and Benny sounded fantastic! What was really amazing is that every time he played it was completely fantastic and completely original. In the end we recorded around 18 minutes of great music... THANK YOU BENNY! Last night my wife and I went to see the Dizzy All Stars with Benny and others such as Randy Brecker (who's simply amazing and really creative!).... I'm pumped to practice for another 10 years. -TA |
