    Jazz Cornet Players?

I am aware of Nat Adderley and Freddie Hubbard both of whom played the cornet in a Jazz idiom, but am not really aware of any contemporary artists who play the cornet currently. If anyone is able to point me in the right direction I would be very appreciative.

    Kind regards

A lot of players will play cornet, but not as their main horn. We don't see a ton of contemporary cornet players out there, at least not ones with large recording contracts.

David Douglas was playing cornet exclusively for awhile, but I think he's gone back to trumpet.
I'm not at my Itunes and I haven't had my coffee yet, or I could name a dozen more. I currently listen almost exclusively to contemporary jazz cornet players.

Check out Tim Morrison's After Hours, beautiful album played mostly on a C cornet.

Here in the good ol' UK we've got Digby Fairweather. He plays cornet as his main horn.
