![]() | Re: Jazz Dispute I'm betting he got that idea from watching the now-famous clip of Billy Crystal speaking in jazz. The set up is a couple of Soviet premiers are arguing, each in his own style, while Maynard Ferguson's band plays "Got the Spirit" live. It's very funny. It used to be available on that great sie, Trumpet Stuff. Whether he got the idea from that it's still pretty good what that guy did. I'm assuming that was Bird, Diz, and company? ML |
