 | Jazz Icons DVD series - unreal! Hey folks, check out www.jazzicons.com - this is the greatest historical discovery in the history of jazz in my opinion. This company is initially offering nine DVDs of never before released footage featuring full length concerts in Europe by Monk, Dizzy, Armstrong, Ella, Chet, Quincy Jones (feat Clark Terry), Blakey and The Messengers (feat Golson and Lee Morgan!), Basie and others. Most of this footage was never broadcast and much of it has apparently not been seen in 40-50 years. wow . . .
