Jazz Improvisation for beginners

Hi all,
I've started trumpet 2 months ago and since I'm in a music/jazz dayschool, played other instruments and practiced till my lips bled (not literally ofcourse) I've progressed quite a bit so that my teacher decided to put me in a jazz ensemble (a beginner ensemble with probably bass, drums, guitar and piano).
Now I've got no problems with themes and the concept of solo-ing/improvising but I'm in dire need of inspiration, I've always been more of a slower player so wondered if there are any books or documents where there are written out Miles Davis-esque solos for some ideas. Thanks in advance.

You might find it more profitable to pick a few solos and transcribe them yourself.

I suggest:
Jamey Abersold's Nothin' But the Blues, Mayden Voyage, or The Magic of Miles. Along with the play alongs (which you can get on ebay used, just be sure the item includes both CD and the book)
I would then get a SPIT Book(also occasionally avalable on ebay used). This book is used in conjunction with the play alongs. The SPIT book supplies the sequences to be used along with the melody lines. using this combination, I use this method and usually have people having a rough idea of how to improvise in one setting.
