Leo Smith/Paul Smoker recordings

Howdy,

I am looking to pick up some new sides and I was just wondering if anybody has any recommendations for current Paul Smoker or Leo Smith recordings.

Thanks in advance,
PT

You might try "Luminous Axis." It is pretty new, and one of my favorite Leo Smith recordings. I also picked up "Snakish" and "Lake Biwa," and love them both.

Axis, and Snakish are with percussion and electronic sounds. Lake Biwa is with a larger acoustic orchestra. All 3 are great.

You might also want to go to Amazon and listen to samples of his various CD's to see which ones you like. Leo has a site, but as of late, every time I go there, it won't come up. I have to call him to find out what is up with that.

Lou
